Terms of hire

1. Quotes and pricing

• Prices attach to an exact vehicle — make, model, trim and model year — never to a nameplate averaged across years.
• A quote is generated by our pricing engine from the published rate card and published rules (seasonal uplifts, weekend premiums, lead-time adjustments, convoy discounts). Every line of that arithmetic is shown on the quote.
• USD prices (helicopters, tours) are converted at the admin-published exchange rate shown alongside the figure.
• VAT treatment is being confirmed by the client; where it applies it will be shown as its own line, never folded silently into a rate.

2. Booking and deposit

• A booking is confirmed when the deposit is paid: 40% of the quoted total, subject to a minimum of KES 10,000 — and never more than the total itself.
• The deposit is taken by M-Pesa STK Push at checkout, or by card or invoice where those rails are configured. A payment only exists if it can be traced to a payment attempt record with its receipt.
• The balance falls due under the schedule shown on your booking.

3. Cancellation and refunds

• 30+ days before the start of the hire: 90% of amounts paid is refunded
• 14+ days before the start of the hire: 50% of amounts paid is refunded
• 0+ days before the start of the hire: 0% of amounts paid is refunded
• Refunds are calculated by the same policy engine at the moment of cancellation; the figure shown to you before confirming is the figure applied.

4. Vehicle classes

• Where a specific listed vehicle becomes unavailable, a vehicle of the same category and tier will be substituted, and you will be told before pickup — never surprised by it.
• Each vehicle states whether it may be driven by the hirer or comes chauffeured. Many luxury units are chauffeured only, and that is stated on the listing.
• Self-drive security deposits, excess amounts and fuel policy are being finalised per tier and will appear on each listing once confirmed by the client.

5. Helicopter charter

• Charter flights are weather-dependent; safety calls by the operating crew are final. Where a flight cannot run, rebooking or refund follows the cancellation ladder above.
• Landing fees, park fees and positioning are itemised per route on the flight page rather than bundled into an unexplained figure.
• Whether an aircraft is operated directly or by a named partner operator is disclosed on the aircraft page.

6. Company particulars

Registered name, company registration number and KRA PIN are being added here as part of the client's document supply. They are deliberately absent — not approximated — until the exact values arrive.
